Moisturizes your hands with organic omega-3 gel in one simple step. To use,
just wet hands thoroughly with product then briskly rub together until dry. You
can use Moisture Therapy often to decrease bacteria on your skin, because the
antiseptic formula contains moisturizers and is recommended for repeated use.
Savannah's Organic Flax Instant Hand Sanitizer & Moisture Therapy is made
from USDA Certified organic Flax seed that is grown on Savannah's Uncle/Aunt's Organic farm in
Minnesota. We personally know the farmers and pick up the flax seed from them. The
flax is top quality and eatable, meaning it is not second run or screenings. We
use the same top grade golden flax that is sold on the Gifted Learning Project's store for human consumption.
After using top grade organic flax seed in Savannah's Organic Flax Instant
Hand Sanitizer & Moisture Therapy, we add spring water, and use our grandma's
secret 12 step process to pull out the best part of the omega rich oils and
other skin beneficial nutrition from the flax seed. After that, we add rubbing
alcohol to help keep the product preserved and sanitize your hands. That's it!
I
hope you enjoy using the product as much as we do making it for you, please feel
free to write with any comments or questions. We can also do special orders.
History - After hearing so many scary reports on
hand sanitizers, and how you should no longer use them on kid-o's and having two
little ones. We found our grandma's recipe in one of her old recipe boxes. We,
tried it and loved it, and just wanted to share the product with others. We feel
that if you can't eat it "flax seed" don't put it on your skin. We
have two children, one is Dakota, which has a movie named after him called,
Dakota's Pride, so it was only fair to name the product after my other child,
Savannah . She was 5 when we started testing the product and draw the self
picture of herself that we use on the label.
CAUTION: For External use only. Avoid contact with broken skin, face
and eyes. Discontinue use if irritation develops, Flammable, Keep away from
flame and high heat. Keep out of reach of children except under adult
supervision.

Health Tip 1:
Only mill what you need for
a week or Two, The healthy
“stuff” in side the flax
loses value after two weeks,
after being ground. So
never buy pre-ground
flax seed from the store,
keep it in nature’s (the
whole seed) healthy and safe
package until you need it.
Cold Mill it, keep the
Flax seed cold in your
freezer.
Health Tip 2:
For optimum nutrient value,
use ground flax seeds
instead of flax oil. Flax
oil contains omega-3 fatty
acids, but it does NOT
contain the beneficial
lignans and fiber. The
lignans and fiber are
removed in the production
process to increase shelf
life.

Gardeners and has her,

in Food Nutrition and
Microbiology.)

FLAX SEED IS A RICH SOURCE
OF OMEGA 3 FATTY ACIDS
Flax seed is a source of
Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)
and lignans that exhibit a
number of properties that
are essential to good
health.
Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)
is both an essential fatty
acid and an omega-3 fatty
acid that can aid in: • Regulating cholesterol,
triglycerides and blood
pressure. • Controlling immune and
inflammatory disorders.
Lignans are plant substances
that, when ingested, are
broken down in the digestive
system into two main lignans,
enterodiol and enteolactone.
These lignans circulate thru
the liver and are
subsequently excreted in the
urine. Lignans are thought
to bind to estrogen
receptors in the body and
reduce the risk of
hormonally related cancers.
Flax seed is the richest
know source of lignans.
Ground Flax Seed is also
rich in protein, B vitamins,
vitamin E, beta-carotene,
calcium, potassium,
magnesium, manganese and
zinc. The fiber benefits of
flax seed can only be found
in the ground flax seed.
Typical ground flax seed
intake: 25 to 30 grams / day Research has show that
ground flax seed can: • Increase levels of good
cholesterol (HDL). • Provide a lubricating
effect that aids in reducing
joint problems. • Promote the production of
essential fatty acids that
are essential for healthy
growth of blood vessels,
nerves, skin and other
tissues. • Promote the production of
prostaglandins (hormone-like
substances) that aid in
reducing inflammation and
high blood pressure.

Omega-3s
Previous trials have shown
that omega-3s can improve
memory, mood, concentration
and behaviour.
Researchers in the
UK will
supplement 38 pupils, aged
10 to 16, with the oils for
six months and closely
follow their behaviour.
The children have problems
like attention deficit
disorder (ADD), attention
deficit hyperactivity
disorder (ADHD), autism,
dyslexia, Asperger's
syndrome and pervasive
development disorder.
Some of them have already
been prescribed drugs like
Ritalin, used to treat ADD
and ADHD, but which also has
side effects like decreased
appetite and insomnia. The
new study will also examine
whether fish oil supplements
can help reduce the side
effects of this medication.
The findings will be
analysed by Dr Madeline
Portwood, a senior
educational psychologist
working for
Durham county council.
The more it is tested,
the more compelling the
hypothesis becomes.
Dyslexia, ADHD, dyspraxia
and other neurological
problems seem to be
associated with a deficiency
of Omega 3 fatty acids,
especially in the womb. The
evidence of a link with
depression, chronic fatigue
syndrome and dementia is
less clear, but still
suggestive. None of these
conditions is caused
exclusively by a lack of
these chemicals but it’s
becoming pretty obvious that
some of our most persistent
modern diseases are, at
least in part, diseases of
deficiency.
Last year, for example,
researchers at Oxford
published a study of 117
children suffering from
dyspraxia. Dyspraxia causes
learning difficulties,
disruptive behaviour and
social problems. It affects
about 5 percent of children.
Some of the children were
given supplements of Omega 3
and Omega 6 fatty acids,
others were given placebos.
The results were
extraordinary: in three
months the reading age of
the experimental group rose
by an average of 9.5 months,
while the reading age of
those given placebos rose by
3.3. Other studies have
shown major improvements in
attention, behaviour and IQ.
This shouldn’t surprise
us. During the Palaeolithic
era, humans ate roughly the
same amount of Omega 3 fatty
acids as Omega 6s. Today we
eat 17 times as much Omega 6
as Omega 3. Omega 6s are
found in vegetable oils,
while most of the Omega 3s
we eat come from fish or
flax
